Queen Margaret's Psalter

The Psalter was acquired for the Library's collections not later than 1636. It belonged to John Reid, Chancellor of Aberdeen from 1537, but its provenance is otherwise unknown. Written in an Irish miniscule, it was scribed probably in Scotland and possibly for Queen Margaret (c1046-1093)
